Pointed white cabbage from the garden as it can't be long before the frosts come. Saw the caterpillars were still feasting well on the outer leaves.

Spitzkohl has a finer more decent taste than the standard round white cabbage but is seen less as it can't be so well worked on by machines. Bliper Nogbad pointed us all in the direction of a nice simple recipe for it last year and I tend to alternate that with simply eating it raw as a salad.
