Relaxing

That meant getting up late, followed by a bit of breakfast.

Then I took the first of the photos,on my week 3 day 3 run. A bit late, but better late than never, as they say. The lane is very flooded, like most of the country, thanks to storm Bella last night.

Once I was back home there were lots of things I wanted to do. Nothing strenuous though. The puzzle, which was just over half done by the time we went to bed last night. Mollie and I were determined to finish it - which we did - with Henry's help.

Jon bought my a craft lamp for Christmas so we put that together, and used it to shed light on our puzzle.

I cooked bubble and squeak to go with the cold meat, and pickles, for lunch. One of the best Christmas meals I think. The rest of the day it was just buffet food, eating up the remains.

This evening we played our first game of the very popular 'Pandemic'. We haven't played it all year - it didn't feel right earlier in the year. It was a close run thing, but we did just beat it, although did not eradicate the virus all together! Sound familiar?....

Now heading to bed at a far more reasonable time, to read my book. Tombland. The final book in the Shardlake series. It is really enjoyable reading a book set in a place you are familiar with - even better when it is historical. I can't wait to get back in to Norwich. An idea for something to do later in the week, perhaps?
