"Ecological World"...

...in mono--green, the theme for MonoMonday, and thanks so much to carolinav for hosting December and for such great themes.   My choice would be earth-centered ecology, specifically trees. We need healthy, happy trees to provide shade, to absorb carbon dioxide & produce oxygen, to trap airborne pollutants which removes them from the atmosphere and even for our mental health. Fortunately for all  Wisconsinites, we have an abundance of trees, Wisconsin being home to 2 National Parks, 66 State Parks (covering more than 60,570 acres), more than 600 County Parks and the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest which covers more than 1.5 MILLION acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods. I honestly think if you asked someone who lives in Wisconsin where the most beautiful place on Earth is, most would answer: "Up North", which to us means Northern Wisconsin. Why? Because it IS the most beautiful place on Earth! (Not that I'm prejudiced, mind you!) LOL.
