Christmas Deconstructed

It's done for another
year, we pack away the bling
We count winter days

I'm already missing my Arizona days......sunshine, warmth, blue skies.....instead, shoveling, gloomy skies, snowfalls, boots, gloves....

I will pack away the pretties, but not the lights. Those sparkly, bright lights will sustain me through the winter. They brighten the corners of my house. They bring me cheer. I plug them in at 4 PM and unplug them as I'm going to bed. I need that ritual through the winter's dark.
