Frozen pond

It was so cold and icy today that any thoughts of exercise outside were banished. Instead I rode our indoor exercise bike this afternoon. I only stepped outside once, and this was simply to find a blip. Here it is: our frozen pond, snapped before it started to snow again after lunch.

I plan to post an end of year blog entry at http://hazelhall.org tomorrow, so this necessitated a little work over the course of the day. I reviewed all the news emails that I send out to my research group each Friday to gather the content for my blog post. I'll write this up in the morning.

I made Mr hazelh play Carcassonne with me until I won. This took three games.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike.
