Sandy Point Park, Maryland, US

With New Year's Day we have a three day weekend. This is the day of them that we don't have rain so, inspired by Zerohour, I went to the beach. Fortunately for me, I saw on the internet that the beach I was planning to go to, Mayo Beach, is closed, and I went to Sandy Point Beach instead. How lucky am I to have a car and beach less than an hour away? 

This beach has two lighthouses in the water. This is a three-story lighthouse erected in 1883. But! This is also Silly Saturday, so check out the enormous kite in the sky.
