Near the end of Autumn these hyacinth bulbs were planted and put away in the dark for a few months.  I like to bring them out in January after all the Chistmas tinsel is down and the house looks a bit dull.

I now have them out on the dining room table, and they are greening up and it won't be long until they flower.  I love the scent of hyacinths, they scent the whole room.
