The temperature today is hovering around the -1C to +1C...... and it is very icy outside..... but we had a little sunshine in the morning which enabled me to catch a few rays before coming back into the warmth.

Scotland is now back in total lockdown from tomorrow...... stay home is the only option except for essential food or medication shopping, or for exercise, only within the very local area.  Only two people from two households allowed to meet up, and all shops, restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, churches, hairdressers, nail bars, etc. etc. closed. Schools and nurseries also closed except for vulnerable children or children of essential workers.

Our town centre is already like a ghost town, and has been since Boxing Day, and staff furloughed. 

 I feel very concerned for our young people, life for them is difficult on lots of fronts, and worry about finances make for great difficulties.  My family are fortunate in that all of our working family are able to work at home, with the exception of my granddaughter who is doing shifts in our local supermarket.

The second vaccine is being administered from today, and will be done as quickly as delivery restraints allow.  This is our best hope to get back to some kind of normality.

Stay home and stay safe, and God help us all!

At least the HG and I have supplies!!!!
