The River Forth

So different from the last few days, the day was bright and beautiful, although cold.  We left home early planning to walk, and drove to Dalmeny, and then down to Queensferry.  It was -1C when we started to walk along the River Forth, but very pleasant once we got going.  Lots of people out walking, and a lot of cyclists too.  

We walked along the river, and then up into the Dalmeny Estate, back down to the river and along to the start, 6.5 lovely miles.  

We treated ourselves to coffee in Hawes Inn, which is a very old inn full of history, and relaxed for an while before driving home.
