Tractor in a field

Gosh! A third late night, staying up til gone 1.00am to watch another Runrig concert, this time the Party on the Moor from Muir of Ord in 2013 marking 40 years as a band. A favourite one of ours. We have others including their last ever concert from Stirling castle in 2018 when they retired as a band after 45 years.

Another late morning with a brunch, with a little light house hunting to follow. It’s fascinating how your ideas change over time as different possibilities and scenarios present themselves.

That didn’t leave much daylight for a walk. But we went anyway. Bright sunshine which had flooded the house only minutes earlier disappeared into a shower of hail as we set off. Our walk was further delayed by chatting to neighbours who were also out walking. We managed to get back just in the light accompanied by some heavy rain.

It’s a route we’ve walked many times, so this tractor must have been in the field on previous occasions. It’s the first time we’ve noticed it. Suitably derelict I think you’ll agree. Thank you for hosting Derelict Sunday Marlieske. And one on a Sunday too.

We might watch Rick Wakeman this evening on a live stream if I can be bothered to get around to setting it up. We’ve seen him live a couple of times, always good value fir money, a great raconteur and a fabulous pianist.
