As the French would have it. Or maybe not. No prizes for guessing the rather pathetic schoolboy joke!

I thought it was supposed to be wet today, but tho' it rained last night it froze again overnight so we had a rather slippery walk down to the town this morning - the steps at Jacob's Ladder were rather dodgy, but easier to deal with than a sloping path. Quite calm out in the bay - I don't know how far this paddler was going, but it's not a day to fall in!
