Have a Gander at this

Today’s walk was out to the beach at Cley.  Masses of geese flying over and landing on the saltmarsh, and at one point when they all flew up at the same time it was like watching a murmuration of starlings, except with geese.  This was the leading edge of a much larger flock; difficult to say how many but I would estimate there were several thousand of them.

First extra of the year added; I spotted this sign on the way back to the car. I didn’t hang around too long just in case they weren’t joking.
