If you can't beat them...

Snow.

Our first "real" snow of the winter.   Somebody is thinking "how can you have snow that isn't real".  Well for me real snow has to form a decent covering, not nearly as much grass showing as there is snow.

We walked down into the village to the post and to drop cardboard into the recycling bins.  The snow was making that lovely "crunching" noise as you walked.

The blip is snow on a Fir (Nordmann I think) that began life as a tree we bought for Christmas.  Eventually it became too large (well too heavy) to carry in, so now is a sort of king size Bonsai.
