Emergency Blip - but rather like it

a.m. > 2 lengthy phone calls. One to cancel a routine hospital appointment. I’d already postponed the previous one to the latest date on offer. They warned I couldn’t change again, or would be removed from the clinic’s list :(

Well, you know me, With Covid cases already astronomical (68,053 new cases today), and still shooting up, it seemed highly unlikely things would improve significantly in 2 weeks time. So decided to cancel with plenty of notice. Surprise, surprise, this time the tone had softened “Just call us when you feel ready to come in”.

Immediately after lovely A called, she’d said she would today as had taken a day off

By then it was midday. Did 20mn walk on the balcony, and then a light lunch.

Had filing to do. But Mr B asked me to find old photos of his (Italian origin) family in Belgium. Then I photographed, cropped and edited the prints, so Mr B could send them to an old schoolfriend in Italy.

Another 20 mn balcony walk, before 3pm Whatsapp videocall with M&J. Nattered for an hour. Mainly about Trump (as M is American, J is a hybrid including American - and both are vehemently anti-Trump )

And so the day continued. Not achieved much. No photographs taken. Just had a hunt round, ended up with this ‘bendy’ stand on my Ikea reading lamp.
