Day 293 The lounging queen

After a busy day staring at irritating birds from the comfort of the patio (she isn't capable of harming any of them) Peggy Sue felt the need to take a long rest on the seat which stands where the dining room Christmas tree was.  She's clearly highly relieved that all that decoration nonsense is over with for another year and her favourite spots to relax are restored.  She was sleeping when I approached her with my camera, but graciously raised her head briefly for this shot.
In other news:  Mr MC had his Covid-19 vaccine at the appointed time today.  All went well and currently he feels fine, although he did say that social distancing was rather lacking at the clinic administering the jabs.

Today would have been my mum's 101st birthday had she lived so long.  She died in 1967, aged 47.
