Not Just Another Sunday!

Oh, no!  This IS Central Texas, after all!  So, i got up this morning and after I checked the forecast, I was expecting rain all during the morning and they mentioned the possibility that snow could arrive about 2:00 in the afternoon. Snow in this area is usually a few errant flakes that disappear almost as soon as they hit the ground.  Today's snow came earlier than expected, about 9:30 this morning, and wanted us to know that it had been here,.  So, while we were in our classes and music services for the hardy souls who braved the blizzard, it snowed.  It snowed as Julie Chambers blessed the traditional music service with a beautiful song and it kept on snowing as Rick Randall, APD Senior Chaplain spoke to us about knowing who God is (tat He keeps His promises), who we are(as His adopted children) and what that means for how we live our lives.  It was still snowing as we mad our way home, so after lunch , I asked Dana to go and write in the snow that had accumulated on the windshield just since we got home, the date so that we could remember exactly when the "Blizzard of 2021" visited our town.  It has stopped snowing now and the snow is melting, so I am glad that I included it in my Sunday collage.  As for next Sunday, you just never know what might happen!  2021 seems to have taken some cues from 2020.......
