I'm in an online group of "Galanthophiles" and learnt, some time ago that some flower before Christmas.  I, eventually, bought some.
I decided to prowl "God's little micro-acre"to look for signs.
I found nothing around the garden taller than about 0.25" ≈ 6mm - except these. 
They didn't say which Christmas.
