Posing ....

More overnight rain and more set to arrive over the next couple of days! I think my garden will do better soon as a bog garden! it's very squelchy out there!

Managed to get our weekly visit in to Hyde Hall today for a walk round, even though I wasn't feeling my best. Hopefully the fresh air has done me some good and it was nice to see it much quieter again! That meant lots of bird watching was going on - the resident blackbirds, robins, chaffinches and blue tits were enjoying the food on offer and helping the gardeners dig over the borders looking for worms!

The most exciting thing happening today though was a Sonic Boom being heard at lunchtime! It was heard all over Essex, Cambridge and further afield and got everyone talking wondering what it was that made the windows rattle! Apparently a eurofighter jet was scrambled to intercept a plane that wasn't responding! I think it has now been safely escorted to Stanstead Airport!
