Flower Friday

I know it is more of the same, but as I mentioned the flower photography course is taking a bit of my time.  This was taken with the Velvet 56 + the 250 Raynox filter. The velvet was wide open which provides that glow and the Raynox filter, very much like an extension tube, but easy to clip on to the front of the lens, decreases the minimum focusing distance and provides the soft drop-off around the edges.  BTW, the Raynox filters are very inexpensive. 

I have to confess that it is not a real flower.  Only a knucklehead would sign up for a flower course in the middle of winter and with no ability to shop for flowers due to the pandemic. Needs must.
