To the rescue

A lazy start to the day, so much so that we almost missed the very sparse smattering of snow which the rain was washing away.

The bird feeders have been very busy all day which is good to see.

I'm still saving the ironing.

The sun came out this afternoon so JJ and I walked around the wood.  I've never seen so much standing water, it just has nowhere to go.  No-one else in the woods but plenty of families on the avenue and in the playground.

I've added an extra of the steaming fence and dancing midges.
