Wanderings & Witterings

Robin

A short, local wander along the line of what used to be the railway between Kilsyth and Bonnybridge - when I say short, I mean about 400 yards! - and then down onto the Canal, once again more in its liquid than solid state, and home from there.

The birds have reappeared and there were gulls, mallards, goosanders and moorhens aplenty, but I didn't see any swans on the short length of the Canal that I walked. I don't suppose they'll have been far away.

A robin helpfully obliged by posing on a fence-post by the old railway. Blip sorted!
