The snowman

There has been a significant thaw overnight.  I certainly didn't need to worry about the snow on the path - it had all gone by the time I looked out this morning.  I watched a family yesterday morning building this snowman in the field next door - it is now a mere shadow of its former self.  

In other news ......... there is no other news

Edit - actually, that's not quite true - I've been worried about our snowdrops, which were showing no sign of life, but I finally noticed some emerging today.
