Moss and lichen

A pretty day today, not exactly sunny but lovely blipping light.  This is a piece of rotting wood, losing its bark but carrying a great payload of moss and lichen.  I can't tell you what kinds, I'm hopefless on both of them.  Must do better!

That was a morning walk.  This afternoon K and I walked up to the local out-of-centre pet shop for the benefit of Ms Hazel then gave her a shortish but fun walk home..  Just an average day ;))
