Snow Flurries...

...on the windshield with a somewhat abstracted view of the street, & no, I wasn’t driving as I took this—I was on the side of the road. :). We’ve had light flurries off & on all morning but the snow melts as soon as it hits the sidewalks or road so there’s no accumulation. A dark & dreary day but I still got out for my walk. Now I’m sitting by the front window with my coffee, watching the show. There was a chickadee & a woodpecker in the tree right outside the window, both hopping from branch to branch, when all of a sudden neither was moving. I kept watching & watching, & not a single movement. I thought how strange that was, but then I looked to my right, & sitting on the wire was a hawk. I timed it......the hawk sat on the wire for almost 4 1/2 minutes, & for 4 1/2 minutes neither bird moved! The hawk flew off & both birds did likewise! Pretty amazing to see. :)
