Gale Force Winds

Sure has been windy today with gusts reach 135k in some parts of Canterbury. There are a lot of trees down around the city and the number of fires. Also power outages. It has been warm with around 29c but it has cooled a bit after a shower of rain. It was after the rain I managed to get this shot as the winds seem to ease for a while. We are still getting a few strong gust from time to time.

On the mountain ranges there has been a good dumping of snow. The storm is moving up north now. Hopefully it will not cause too much damaged on its way up.
