Downpour

Raining heavily all day. Flood alerts and warnings in lots of places in this region. Dreadful to have to evacuate in lockdown. And now it’s snowing.

We watched Joe Biden’s inauguration this afternoon. Great speech. He has multiple crises to deal with, I wish him good fortune. Trump will not disappear - a real life Voldemort. But he’s not now in power, thank goodness, and will hopefully be a marginalised figure.
