3 day cycle + 7

Firstly, a massive thank you to all you wonderful & kind supportive blippers, on my 2000th blip yesterday! As many of you gathered it would have completely passed me by had it not been for all your lovely comments!

Slept reasonably well, hubs doing ok, still tired, lounged a while, had a toasted teacake with a cuppa, but was up showered and downstairs before midday. I cleaned all the windows upstairs, dusted our room and ran the hoover round, before a shower & hairwash.....its getting long so taking longer to blow dry :-/

We had a bacon & egg "butty" for lunch. I noticed this morning that my mobile phone was showing "no service" . Couldnt make a call to my provider, so went on Live Chat via wifi to resolve things. A very nice guy sorted it out without too much trouble.

As forecast the sun came out this afternoon, so hub and I ventured out in the car, just into town, needed bread and loo rolls, so yes essentials, and a Costa cappucino and a blueberry muffin, a treat, before his tastebuds disappear for a week!

Back home late afternoon, I decided to use up the chocolate panetonne by making a bread & butter pudding.....its soaking, pre going in the oven at the moment! !

On Tuesday, whilst we were at the hospital, daughter popped round to ours and left us a surprise! A black box with some written instructions on our kitchen island. It contains 20 handmade cards, 10 for Dad and 10 for me. One for each of the next ten days to spur us on whilst dealing with his third cycle of chemo. Strict instructions to only read one each day, which we have been doing.....honestly! Today is day 3, in extras, a close up of the words in hubs Day 3 card. Karen has put a lot of thought, time and effort into each card, some quotes provided by other members of our family. <3

Hubs just taken his last medication of this cycle. Dinner tonight is going to be something light, probably soup and a sandwich, enough, before the richness of chocolate bread and butter pudd!

Much of the surface water we had has now disappeared, as has the snow.

Stay safe out there everyone
