I spent some of the morning sorting out some postage stamps for the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). I have not quite finished and they will probably be tomorrow’s blip, unless anything better comes along.

Today’s picture is of two male pheasants that were lurking under the bird feeder waiting for food to be dropped. They were difficult to get together, from the kitchen window, until they decided to move further down the garden where they posed very briefly before going in different directions. I filled all the bird feeders, again, and put some seed down for the ground feeders, but as far as I know they have not returned.

The temperature was five degrees Celsius at GMT noon. It was very frosty first thing and did not clear all day, in the parts of the garden that were in the shade.
