Amazing

Here is a picture I never imagined I would ever be able to post living in Dubai. Life has changed so much in the past year!

I received notification of a special meeting a few days ago and registered immediately. Yesterday, we learnt that all live entertainment in hotels and restaurants have been cancelled because our numbers are out of control. Looking closer, it is DJ/dance events that have been suspended. An individual artist or speaker with proper social distancing in place and masks on at all times is OK. I hadn't heard of the speaker we listened to today and wasn't sure what to expect, but we were both pleased we went. His grandparents were Holocaust survivors.

The rest of the day was relaxed/quiet. We attended Session 5 of a study being conducted from Bournemouth on Looking after the Planet and watched this clip from last summer. The interview of a newly qualified doctor was particularly poignant.

And lastly, after months of being held in a safe place, the Volvo is going to be moved to a garage. I've got to be up really early, so good night!
