With no great urgency I got up and pottered about; but the news from up the road that She had taken the day off was not good news. Picking up where she'd left off. I just had to sit tight and let it take it's course.

Alex arrived for home schooling; so we discussed Kensuke's Kingdom and bar graphs. 

For lunch I sought insight from the local royalty (hence the Ancient Mariner taking the young apprentice under is wing to engage in boatie maintenance) A useful if chilly hour before school work resumed. 

Oh and my boss finally kicked up enough of a fuss to get me an IT engineer appointment for Thursday morning.

Tom arrived after  'school'; and dinner / Netflix ensued.
