New visitor

This is a first for us.  According to the RSPB identifier site, this is a female blackcap.  I've seen it flitting around the tree for several days and not managed to blip it, mistaking it for a redpoll.  The RSPB say it is usually a summer visitor from Germany and north east Europe but has recently started to over winter here - climate change again no doubt.  It has the nickname of the Northern Nightingale for its 'delightful, fluting song'.  I shall have to listen out for it.

It's the RSPB Gardenwatch next weekend, shall have to hope she returns.
