Twisting

This type of spider often builds a web on the outside of our window frames, so we see them waiting in the centre for unwitting beasties. This one looked different - she was swinging around on a thread, but not moving at all. Literally twisting in the wind. Oh dear, I think she is an ex-spider. (Etc, etc). Thought it was a more interesting image than the chutney that I spent the afternoon making, to deal with small beetroot mountain that I had accumulated. It was a beautiful colour, granted - but the flat now reeks of cloves and vinegar.

Spoke with D in the afternoon who was having a similarly riveting time in Hull (although without the chutney making). Lovely to hear his voice but both found that we had nothing to tell each other because.....nothing had happened!

I really must do something about those new students.....
