Day 309 A sprinkling of snow

This morning Mr MC and I had opticians appointments, he to collect some new glasses and me to have an eye test for the first time since September 2018.  Luckily there was only the very slightest change to my left eye and the very mild beginnings of cataracts unchanged.  Phew!
On the way home, we drove past Connaught Water and we stopped to take a picture from the car, but I decided not to walk as it looked very slippery.  The main picture is a few yards up from the car park and the extra a shot of Connaught Water  itself, showing how amazingly blue the sky was today.  You can see how how little snow we've had.
In other news: there was another briefing from 10 Downing Street today, in which Matt Hancock told us that although there were signs that the new restrictions were working this was not the time to ease up.  The government will tell us when schools can reopen in England but it won't be yet.  Oh well, lots more home schooling to come then.
