Skirt

Perhaps not the prettiest picture, under a gloomy skyin the late afternoon, but it’s interesting to see how the high water level of the Red Brick Dam has been marked by the extent of the ice along its edge. 

And now the level has fallen by a foot or so, this skirt of broken ice is left behind.
