Poor neighbour

We haven't had strong winds for a while. Despite that this large branch from a gum tree broke off a neighbour's tree, crashed through a nearby pine tree, taking some of it with it, and settled in the middle of the pine tree. I guess it's just a case of a gum tree doing what a gum tree does. Which is exactly why we have asked our neighbourhood association to have the massive gum behind our house inspected and, hopefully, trimmed. Getting Local Council to agree will be the hard part. The extra shows the tree that worries us.
