Lisbon Day 4

Backblip

Looking through all my holiday photos and realised that I didn't post the rest of the Lisbon trip with Gillian.

Started off with a coffee on the terrace of our flat in Graca, great views overlooking the City.  We headed off pretty early as today was our trip to Belem and Pasteis de Belem for the mouth wateringly lovely Natas in the Cafe.  We grabbed a Tuk Tuk and the poor guy taking us was stopped twice by police both times showing his licence as we were three in the tuk tuk and it was a small one but there were three seat belts so he was fine.

We walked first to the amazingly architecturally designed cancer foundation building which is stunning then as it was so hot we went indoors to sample the Natas and Coffee.  they didn't disappoint.  S and I hadn't been to the park up the hill a bit and it was an oasis of cool with all the trees and then we spotted a bit house with an open area with about 15 hammocks with beautiful music playing so we chilled out reading our books and listening to the music.  It was quite surreal.

So the whole day was spent in Belem and we got a tram back into Lisbon.  Thirsty we were and chose a bar with a rooftop terrace overlooking the castle for our refreshments.  It was bliss.

Another fabulous day in Lisbon. i wonder when we will ever get back to this fab place.  I miss it very much/
