In the Mist

This was the entrance to Crownhill Fort, taken today in the mist (for more information on the fort see my blip entry for 8th January). Despite the poor weather today, I did have a walk through the woods and around the perimeter of the fort. The cold air has now been replaced in the south-west of England by mild, moist air. The effect on the floor of the woodland has been transformational, with new growth pushing up everywhere.
