More Summer Snow

Hard to believe that only two days ago the temperatures were in the thirties (Celsius). Today they were struggling to make it to the teens.

The praying mantis nymph that lives on the artichokes has moved up to the 5th instar, when the wings and wing cases are small, but well formed. Trouble is, one of her wing cases is crumpled. I have no idea if this is permanent, nor how it will affect her. See extra shot.
