Demolition #2 in K-Town

Apologies this is so soon after the last one, but it is big stuff for me and (possibly) the last one until they actually turn on the building that I once lived in!!!

As you can see, there is a slightly different approach here i.e. no dynamite! Wonder how long it will take to break this. When I was growing up, the first instance of a friend my age living within walking distance was here. She lived in this building! She played the guitar and I played drums, and we got chatting mainly because of a shared interest in music! (We are friends to this day.)

I wonder how the hydraulic excavator operator feels at the thought of doing seven of these with his one vehicle!

It has not been a great day today. The Foreign Affairs Ministry refused to put their verification stamp on the paper I spent over 3 hours yesterday to obtain! They said I had to go to the local Notary Public. Fortunately Pauline was with me, and today she was buzzing with energy so we went on to the "typing centre" to try for this residence visa regardless. The process here is so complex and long-winded with so many variables, I'm not even going to say anything of what happened there. I was pleased to get home.

Tomorrow it will all be different! Anyway, I will find out how the canvas of my picture is received! That's in the evening. In the morning, it's the typing centre with Pauline again!

I have to say; ONE thing about this new flat which I really do love is being able to lie in bed and see the moon. Earlier this morning, I decided to do an experiment to capture my room being lit by moonlight. I tried a 30 second shutter speed and you can barely see a thing so need to have another go when I am more awake I have more energy. Maybe that's what was wrong today - too tired to take the knocks!

In the afternoon, I tried taking an "arty" picture of the light that floods into my room and actually managed to capture a decent image EXCEPT, the pics weren't in focus because I had taken the auto-focus off in the middle of the night and forgot to switch it back on! Aaarrrgggghhhh!! Thursday come quick! Feeling better now I've got it off my chest. Thank you my patient blip buddies!
