Day 314 Another tooth bites the dust!

Today was cold and very wet but nevertheless we carried on with daughter#2's plan to get me out and moving.  We chose just one 'essential store' to visit and upon arriving at the first branch decided to drive on as the completely outside queue to enter was too long.  To be honest it wasn't much better at the second branch but at least it was partly under cover and it did seem a shame to to just turn round and go home.  I managed to justify the wait by buying some household cleaning essentials plus a duvet set and my daughter did the same.  After about 30 minutes we'd had enough and Violet was bored anyway.  The store had far too many cardboard boxes around, some not yet unpacked and some folded flat ready for recycling so it seemed quite crowded even though numbers were strictly limited, everyone wore masks and we did a lot of hand sanitising!
Once home, Violet decided that her latest wobbly tooth was too wobbly even for a chocolate treat and decided to work at it until it eventually came out.  Or rather she tugged it out herself, having declined Mr MC's assistance! Tooth gone she could relax and eat her dinner comfortably and of course the Tooth Fairy will visit tonight.
This evening daughter #2 and I binge watched all 5 episodes of It's a Sin.  It is a remarkable piece of work and we spent much of it in tears.  There are a few parallels to the present (pandemic) situation, but the bigotry and vilification shown towards the gay community in the 1980s is shocking.
