Flying the coop

I have to fight the urge to post yet another fungus blip today.

Predictably, we take another even-muddier-than-last-week - walk through the woods, and accumulate an array of woody shots of trees, and leaves and fungi.

We emerge from arboreal twilight to the single track road that takes us to the Welsh Mountain Zoo - now closed for lockdown.  Today the sea lions are quiet, and the only sign of life comes from the dove cote close to the road. Of course, I don’t have the lens to capture birds, let alone flight, but just manage to catch one resident fly off.

It makes the final cut of four - a near-monochrome image that is the antithesis of yesterday’s ‘Beads’.

Does anybody else agonise about their choice of blip - or do I just take too many photos?
