Painshill Park

It was another cold morning, but bright and dry - Gavin and I took Xena for another muddy walk in the woods. In the woods there is a huge sandpit area in a dip in the woods that in winter fills up with water and becomes very popular for dogs and little children to run through. When we were walking around this area there were at least 10 dogs playing in the water, two of which were Vizslas. Xena ran off to go play with the dogs and we watched as she ignored the other dogs and ran straight up to the Vizslas to go play with them. We have noticed that she does enjoy playing with her own breed and this was another example of that.

After the walk we went home for coffees and then we set off to visit Painshill Park, which is an 18th century landscaped garden in our local village. Tommy has been working hard and has barely been outdoors all week so he asked if we could go walk around there. We used to go there often when he was little, and it has been some time since he last visited it. It was also used as a film location for Bridgerton and as he had watched that with his girlfriend he wanted to see the locations used.

After lunch we had a bit of rain and sleet but nothing to get excited about. It gets warmer this week.
