Wildlife

Early this morning, I looked out of the window and saw a female Reeves Muntjac in the orchard, with the tiniest baby I have ever seen. While the Mummy ambled about, the baby zoomed backwards and forwards across the garden. It was too dark to take a picture and I hoped they might come back.

However, this afternoon a male Reeves Muntjac entered the garden and as I was taking its picture it decided to run towards the pond. As I took the picture, the squirrel decided to make a bid for freedom, so is rather out of focus as it climbed the tree.

Thanks everyone for the stars and hearts on yesterday’s fox.

The temperature was four degrees Celsius at GMT noon; it was misty and murky all day.
