Breaking Down The Walls

We finished putting a second coat of paint on the dining room walls this morning. Just the little passage that leads off to the bathroom to go, then it’s the woodwork.

We need a bit more paint for that last bit so we cycled across to B&Q in Glastonbury this afternoon. This is the back of the old Morlands sheepskin factory. A lot of the building has been renovated and house community projects but this side of the building is looking very sorry for itself.

Late afternoon we joined Tess’s cousin’s funeral service via webcam. Felt very strange but I suspect this is an outcome of Covid restrictions that might carry on when and if the restrictions are lifted. There were lots of moving tributes from close family and uplifting songs were played.
