A walk through the woods

My husband fancied a walk today as he was feeling more lively after his vaccination.  We headed to some local commons and set off.  It was very calm, grey and with a light drizzle on and off.  The ground was very wet underfoot and we decided to avoid one area through woodland and head out another way along a drier pathway.  At one point we walked along a small wooded footpath winding around the edge of fields which formed todays blip. The extra shows the area at the start of the walk.  We probably walked around 5 miles and got back home for a late lunch.

It was good to be out although a fairly dull day.
