Cold snowy walk at Sharon Woods

Monday
After yesterday’s rain washed most of our previous snow away, we had more overnight - no more than an inch or so, but enough to give things a coating. The temperature didn’t rise much during the day, remaining several degrees below freezing. The lake at Sharon Woods is now about 90% frozen. We walked around the lake and through the the gorge and back. We were bundled up in layers to keep warm, and Roger was wearing his new winter coat, which he found nice and warm. The evening will be occupied with some knitting and reading.
Stay warm and safe friends!
