Sketching a young girl

A much more pleasant drive down this morning, having left just 10 minutes earlier. S came with me and she spent the day with our daughters.

We have been given access to a friend’s apartment in the downtown area while she and her partner are holidaying in the South Island. So we moved in after I finished work. We then worked to Viaduct Harbour and had dinner in an Italian restaurant. 

Just outside the restaurant an artist had set up an easel and was sketching people who sat to be sketched.
