A break in the fence

Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning! What a treat. We went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um and enjoyed the warmth - it was only 5 degrees, but it sure felt warm. G relaxed for a few minutes against a huge boulder and I took a quick photo of his feet. It was really mucky on the trail and through the fields but I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the mud and wading through the creek between two fields. My old boots are leaking but I'm still wearing them. They're so broken in and comfortable but I really should toss them and start wearing my new ones. Soon.
