Mohawk

It's probably just the fragment of acorn shell that does it, but when I looked down at this log today I saw a face in profile, with a swept back mohawk hair cut.

Some unexpected sunshine my lunchtime walk along Moorside and back through the pastures. I passed a noisy flock of Goldfinch along the way.
