Architectural Beauty

F and I had a walk around Oswestry this morning, it was bitterly cold with snow flurries.

I love the design of this Victorian housein the town, the detail is superb and I'd love to see the sun shining through the stained glass in those staircase windows.  It's unusual because apart from these windows there is only one more on the street facing wall.  The rest must be on the other walls of the house.

The stepping stripe of lighter bricks is very clever as well as beautiful door arch.  It all adds beautiful decoration to what would have been a very plain wall.
